FAQs
What is a CPTED Report?
CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) is a mandatory risk assessment that evaluates your project's design against security principles (Surveillance, Access Control, Territorial Reinforcement, Environmental Management etc.). NSW Councils require it as a critical part of the Development Application (DA) process to ensure the design promotes safety, placemaking, and reduces crime opportunity.
How fast is turnaround?
Rapid Turnaround Guaranteed: Your project schedule stays on track. We confirm our fixed delivery date immediately upon quote acceptance. To ensure the fastest possible turnaround, we require: Full architectural plans (site, floor, elevations), landscape plans, the relevant local council area (LGA), and the DA number (if already lodged).
When is a CPTED Report required in NSW?
Requirements vary by council, but typically, a report is mandatory for residential developments with 20+ dwellings; Commercial, retail, or mixed-use projects above specific size thresholds; and high-risk uses like licensed premises or large community facilities.
